Joyce Guy joined KDAIS, LLC. in March 2005 to expand and support our Employee Benefits Division for the Kentucky Dental Association. Joyce is a licensed agent in employee benefits as well as commercial and personal lines. She has more than 20 years experience in employee benefits, including Sales and Customer Service Support serving the needs of both group and individual clients. Joyce enjoys traveling and has it on her "bucket list" to travel to all fifty states with the list getting smaller and smaller each year.

She is also active at her church as a volunteer, but still makes time to attend volleyball games for grand-daughter, Morgan.

In 1991, Kim began her insurance career at Humana, Inc. During her Humana tenure, Kim gained an insurer’s perspective while working in claims, processing, marketing, and sales.

After 8 years with Humana, Kim joined the fifth largest agency in Kentucky as an employee benefits agent. Kim is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, and has served on the board of the Greater Louisville Association of Health Underwriters. Kim has been awarded with the distinction of Leading Producers Round Table and, in 2003, the Golden Eagle Award, evidencing Kim’s status as a Kentucky sales leader.

In addition to her insurance achievements, Kim also is committed to community service. In 2005, Kim was honored as “Woman of the Year” for her fundraising efforts for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Kim also is active in the fundraising efforts for Susan Komen Breast Cancer research and has organized a team every year since 1998.

In 2006, Kim joined the team at Nelson Insurance Agency, Inc. In 2008, Kim became property and casualty insurance licensed. Also in 2008, Kim partnered with Nelson Insurance Agency and the Kentucky Dental Association to form KDA Insurance Services LLC. KDA Insurance Services is an insurance agency exclusively endorsed by the Kentucky Dental Association to provide insurance and risk management solutions for Kentucky dentists, including group health, employee benefits, and property and casualty insurance.
